The Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) administers disability compensation programs that provide wage replacement benefits, medical treatment, vocational rehabilitation, and other benefits to certain workers or their dependents who experience work-related injury or occupational disease.
For federal employees who require assistance with activities of daily living due to their accepted work-related conditions, OWCP may authorize non-medical in-home care services. As an enrolled provider, Dream Living Support Services is authorized to deliver this care directly to you.

Q. Do I have to pay out of pocket for OWCP home care?
A. If your in-home care is fully authorized by OWCP for your accepted work-related injury, Dream Living Support Services will bill the Department of Labor directly. You typically will not have any out-of-pocket costs for authorized services.
Q. What if I need more hours than OWCP authorized?
A. If you require more care hours than what is currently authorized, your attending physician must submit additional medical justification to OWCP requesting an increase. We can provide private-pay services for any hours not covered by your authorization.
Q. Can you help me get authorized?
A. While we cannot authorize services ourselves (only OWCP can do that based on your doctor's recommendation), we can guide you on what information your doctor needs to provide and help you understand the next steps once you have your authorization letter.
